Youth Ministry Intern – May 9, 2026
This position is a paid intern position with potential for full-time pastoral role.
I. Summary:
- responsible for leading youth ministry, including spiritual development, discipleship, and outreach
- work with middle and high school students fostering a welcoming and engaging environment.
II. Responsibilities:
- Leading and Teaching:
- Plan and lead youth group meetings, including worship, Bible study, and relevant discussions.
- Mentor and disciple young people, helping them grow in their faith and develop a deeper relationship with God.
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Organize and oversee youth events and social activities ensuring they are safe and provide opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship
- Set-up and close-down church facilities each Sunday for worship, Sunday School, etc.
- Relationship Building:
- Engage with the youth during Sunday services and other church events.
- Connect with the youth in the community through outreach.
III. Qualifications:
- Experience in youth ministry, including planning and leading programs/events.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
IV. Key Skills:
- Leadership and team-building skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
