Research shows that students that engage with career development throughout their time in college have better jobs and salaries at graduation than their less engaged peers. Securing internships and relevant experiential learning opportunities also makes a big impact on graduation outcomes!Research indicates that students who actively participate in career development during their college years tend to secure better jobs and higher salaries upon graduation compared to those who are less engaged. Additionally, obtaining internships and relevant experiential learning opportunities significantly enhances graduation outcomes.

All services offered by the Career Development Center are free for App State students, whether you are in Boone, Hickory, or attending online. You can meet with a career coach either virtually or in person for personalized support and skill-building at no charge.
